This past Sunday, after the graduation celebrations, students from the Master in Advanced Architecture Class of 2010/11 met at Can Valldaura with IAAC alumni from the past ten years for the 1st Annual Alumni Meeting. At this event, which coincided with the 10th Anniversary of the Master’s in Advanced Architecture program, the recent graduates and alumni discussed how they can help the IAAC network to better promote innovation in architecture and urbanism around the world after graduating from IAAC. At the meeting, which took place in the forest surrounding Can Valldaura, there was much discussion about how the global IAAC Community can stay in touch and continue to support each other. Representatives from each graduating class were selected as part of the alumni executive board who will keep their graduating class up to date with everything going on at IAAC and within the alumni network. It was also announced at the meeting that Can Valldaura, the future site of the Green Fab Lab, will serve as the official IAAC alumni headquarters. Can Valldaura will be a place to alumni to connect with IAAC when they visit Barcelona and for future alumni events.
