CONCEPT
The idea behind the project is to use a light sensor to collect data about the amount of daylight throughout the day. The sensor, connected to an M5 stack, sends the data to the MQTT broker which passes it to another M5 stack, connected to a lamp and a set of shutters. The input data is analyzed through an “if” statement, checking if the amount of light present is more than or less than 40 lux (the amount of daylight present at sunset and sunrise). If the light is less than 40 lux, the output data is sent to a lamp and a set of shutters and the lamp turns on and the shutters close. If the light is more than 40 lux, the lamp turns off and the shutters open. The idea behind this project is to create a comfortable light setting inside the space.
WORKFLOW
PROCESS
The light sensor continuously sends data through an M5 stack to another M5 stack connected to a lamp and a set of shutters. When the daylight present is less than 40 lux the output is the lamp turning on and the shutters closing. When the amount of daylight exceeds 40 lux, the lamp turns off and the shutters open.
