The purpose of Bridging the Gap project is creating  a bridge structurally optimizes connecting the two sites to connect the colonial past to an inclusive future and bring back traditional motifs in urban infrastructure, concrete piers at mid span and ends for beck support, proposed bridge deck ramp up and down at 1”/12” Approx. 80m Span 

Bridging the gap  is a project of IAAC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia developed at Master in Advanced Computation for Architecture and Design in 2021-2022 by Students: Salma Lasheen, Mohamed Mansour Awais, Shelley  Livingston, Gerald Mandevhana  and Faculty: Manja Van de worp , Matthew Gabe .
