Insulation

In my independent Research, I will focus on eco-friendly Insulation and its potential in ecology and economy referring to four different kinds. To add on the idea of sustainable building, not only is the selection of an accordingly material important, also it’s insulating abilities have to achieve at least the standard of conventional ones. By using good quality material, you save energy and money, but also preserve and reuse sources. In my research, which I will present in a magazine, I will focus on sheep wool, cotton/denim, mycelium and hemp.

Insulating Materials is is a project of IaaC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, developed at Valldaura labs from the Masters in Advanced Ecological Buildings and Biocities  (2021-22)
