Interop Workflows: Cl3ver
Introduction:
The hardware we use has caught up to the ambitions of real-time rendering. Now we can create great looking project presentations without waiting for anything to render. We used the Cl3ver platform, a completely online web platform dedicated for presenting 3d content.
Procedure:
- For this presentation, I used the model of an ancient Asian city/ town to show the changes happening in today’s world.
- The entire model was remodeled in Rhino to show various components of an old city/ town.
- This model was then exported to Cl3ver in fbx format. Each and every component was assigned color and texture in order to give a distinct identity to all.
- I used different effects and tried to show the occurrences within the city over a period of time by changing opacity, color and clipping plane.
- In the end different buttons were added to enhance the user experience.

Conclusion:
With the advent of a 3d platform like Cl3ver, we need not have heavy graphic machines for 3d presentations.
