Lunchbox is a project developed during the 2 month seminar “Cities for Citizens”. Aim of the seminar was discovering human centric design methadologies by a practical work. We as a group wanted to address one of the biggest problems of citizens in busy city life “Lunchtime Management”.
With our own problem of not being able to find affordable and healthy(homemade) lunch options in PobleNou, Barcelona, we started to research about the data and some other citizen experiences. As busy master students at IAAC it was hard for almost all of us to manage prepare our own lunch for the day after, therefore we have to go and pay for not affordable prices of comperably healthy menus or have to skip the lunctime with a sandewich. In this project we tried to develop the idea of connecting potential cooks to potential eaters in city with a peer to peer network with affordable and easy food delivery by help of digital interfaces.
