>>The last two centuries, during the tortuous exodus from the countryside towards the cities, the processes of global urbanization arose as a pragmatic solution for inhabitation. In the present days more than the half of the population lives in cities, nevertheless they occupied less than the 2% of the globe surface and consume more then the 50% of the natural resources. On the other hand, the countryside represents the counter space of the planet and the biggest objectivation is the post-globalized era.
>>The Autonomy Project seeks to envision the morphological and social development of a city (Cajamarca) in the center of Peru; a city which its political, economical, productive and managerial processes have submerged into the deepest social and economical stratus. The projects envision the reconfiguration of the productive chain and its physical repercussions in the city’s morphology through its economical and productive diversification.
>>This project will explore the paradigmatic materialization of the countryside based on the diversification and distribution of the economical and productive system.
