Ink Chimes is an exercise in continuation to the first one for machinic protocols. Extracting matter (in this case) was the next phase for machinic protocols where we tried to keep a string of pens attached to a thread hover over a white sheet. The small difference that brought a little change to the exercise was introduction of a program uploaded via adruino that rotated the motor in different sections by merely switching it on and off. The differential time frames of motor leave a gradient tail on the sheet with the ink going darker in some places than the other.
