Inspired by one of the lowest metabolism systems in the food chain, the mushrooms, the Poisoning Lamp owns the shape of the Marasmus Oreades.
Realised with the composition of three different caps, at variable dimensions and position, we are creating different sources of light, which will be controlled by a layer of the typical inside nerves of the mushrooms. The main “cap” will also have a various thickness, from 3mm on top to 1.5mm at the bottom.
The Poisoning Lamp is a project of IaaC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia
