Comprised of works from over twenty artists belonging to different disciplines, the first edition of Movistar Loom Festival? will take place on the next 19th of May? in Poblenou, Barcelona.

MAI Faculty Cristian Ruzzuti will present a live laser show, Unhuman, while IAAC Alumni Hyphen Labs will create an interactive installation surrounding the theme of feminism, and the roles of the artist and the audience.

Unhuma is a performative installation that foresees a future when machines will develop their own art forms, such as the symphony the robot Director plays by activating an orchestra of 32 spheres on the basis of a circular harmonic algorithm. Unhuman was designed in collaboration with IAAC Robotics Expert Kunaljit Chadha for the Loom Festival at Barcelona’s UTOPIA126 space.
