OBJECT
The main objective of this assignment is to utilize Evolutionary solvers in order to optimize a studio or seminar project. This task has been focused on the optimization of the X-urban studio project related to a new mobility plan that involves residential buldings in Mexico City. In fact thanks to the evolutionary solver “Galapagos”, starting from a simply straight path going from point A to point B it has been possible to re.shape this path in a more complex geometry. This variation has been done to maximaze the radiation and so the sun-light that the surface, hosting the dwellings, receives all year round. At the same time, portions of this surface,hit by the maximum radiation, have been culled in order to not over heat certain dwellings and to allow the natural ventilation and the sun light filtration inside the building.
