80Hz An Interactive Pavilion

This interactive sound pavilion in collaboration with the DX Lab for the State Library of New South Wales in Australia, looks at the libraries collection of paintings and turns it into music.
Working in collaboration with Studio Sonar Sound, a computer progral was developed to generate and translate visual data into sound.

The Pavilion is composed of:

– Curved black timber frame
-Clad in matt anodized aluminum shingles

Generating the Pavilion

Pseudo Code_ Development of the pavilion

Seperating the model into 3 different segments, getting the basic form of the pavilion. Then generating the structure, followed by the panels that are added at the end.
