Last monday, in a crowded main hall, IAAC team members warmly welcomed the 150 new students from 41 different countries who decided to make their life changing experience at IAAC Barcelona this year.

IAAC Academic Coordinator Mathilde Marengo gave some words of welcome and let the team members of the IAAC Advanced Architecture Group, IAAC Communications Department and Fab Lab Barcelona introduce themselves.

After these brief words from the staff, the new Students from MAA01, MAA02, MaCT and OTF took the stage to present themselves, sharing their hopes and dreams for their stay at IAAC.

Later on has been the turn of IAAC Academic Director Areti Markopoulou to give her official welcome to this year’s new students explaining how IAAC Educational Programs propose to shape the future of cities, architecture and technology through a multi-scalar and multi-disciplinary approach.
