MAI Students Installation PlayBall! Great Success at the Barcelona’s Llum Festival 2018
Last week Master in Advanced Interaction‘s (MAI) students have been unveiling their project PlayBall! during the Llum BCN Festival, turning out to be one of the most outstanding and acclaimed installations of the event.
From February 16th to 18th, IAAC took part to the Barcelona Llum Festival 2018. The past editions of the festival used to be set up in Barcelona’s Old Town, but this year the festival got its own and special spotlight in Poblenou’s district, where a vast circuit of light art installations were installed. IAAC has always participated in this event with innovative and pioneering projects carried out by Master’s in Advanced Interaction students.
This year the number of shows, transformed spaces and installations were multiplied, and featured internationally renowned artists as well as local emerging talent from universities of design, art and architecture in Barcelona. Hundreds of curious people came up to IAAC during these days in which friends, couples, families and young children enjoyed an innovative, experimental and sensory work such as PlayBall!: a project that blurs the lines between art, science and technology.
