A record edition of the IAAC Global Summer School just closed its doors! After an intense two-week course, last 14th of July each node could connect with the rest of the network to share projects, hints and opinions resulting from this amazing experience. 160 participants distributed in 11 nodes around the globe worked with their local instructors on physical computing, robotic fabrication and parametric design.

Broadband connectivity, cloud computing, social media, sensors are coming together, changing the way we interact, consume, transport, shaping a new urban landscape blurred by digital and physical stimuli. This process is called “Digitization”. In this framework, and as a part of the GSS18 program, each node has defined strategies for the applications of Advanced Digital Design Strategies as essentials mean for the change.
