CNC MILLING

The concept to map the innate colour variations of metamorphic
stone was used to manipulate the dense nature of the Corinan
base – in order to establish a stylised organicism.

This lamp has been designed, through the use of a pattern
language, to take advantage of the strengths and limitations
of the CNC machine. This design illuminates the hard edges
of the Corian, through the use of sequential layering and
manipulation of light.
