As an initial step of this assignment, a contoured site is taken and developed on rhinoceros with trees, installations, pathways, water bodies, etc. This landscape generated on rhino is then imported to unity to be further developed in to a game.
Different types of installations with different material and texture are provided to add variety in the model. These installations would create different shadows throughout the day.
On unity 3D, this model is further developed by adding textures, cameras, first person, lighting, etc to create a game.
Addition of trees and humans gives a realistic scale to this game. This is a very user friendly way of sharing presentations which are essentially helpful in explaining the design intent of the model. Static images or animations are no longer the only representation tool we have in our arsenal.
Virtual Reality has become viable thanks to the evolution of modern computer hardware. This mode of presentation will soon be the way of architectural presentations.
