In the 21st century, one side the cities are growing rapidly ,getting denser and forming Hyper Region another side it´s neighborhoods  condition is deteriorating. The Inhabitants in the rush are stressed due to uncomfortable travelling.  Considering “Hyper Region and Slow City concept” I started Rethinking New Generation of Airport  Newark which is one among Hyper Region points of the City  will engrave with its neighbourhoods.

The Average weekday Passenger flow of Newark Airport right now is four times the passenger flow of Newark Penn Station and Half of the New York Penn Station. It is estimated that till 2050 the Passenger flow of the Newark Airport will be equal to current passenger flow of the New York Penn station. So the question is

   “Does The Airport of the 21st Century is the Railway Station of the 91th Century ?” 

If Yes then How we will Handle the Overcrowding which will be on the edge of collapse till 2050 ?                                 What could be the design of the Airport where we need Multi Runway and Large Terminal Building                               together but the condition is there is not extra space to expand ?                                                                                                 How to reduce boarding time of Frequent Passengers ?                               

                                                                       It handled 37.5 million passengers in 2014. It handled 25.7 million domestic passengers in 2015.Newark Airport covers 2,027 acres,including a 425-acre Central Terminal.

So I took a two-fold approach to solving the Overcrowding problem of Airport.The first fold is to decentralize the airport activities and the second fold to think about New generation of Airport terminal.  I also included the concept of future Airport after applying the two Fold concept of New generation Airport. It includes the concept of World expo which can be accommodated at existing site of terminal building and parking. Kindly go through the presentation for details.
