Project: Lincoln Park Zoo Pavilion

Located in the Lincoln Park Zoo south pond, the project provides a shelter for the boardwalk underneath it. As a result, it focuses on the nature / urban relationship and how the site is able to function as an outdoor classroom. The analysis done for the animated systems assignment consists in retrieving the basic structure of the pavilion and replicating it to understand its design process.

Pseudo Code

Once the structure has been made, the parametrization of the modules allows for customization of each curve. This way, it is possible to make the strips thicker or thinner, depending on the material used.
