A young  Taiwan designer Yu-Ying Wu is the author of the „Breathing“ chair, which came out as a result of an research in the field of digital fabrication. The pattern itself, although it looks randomly,   was carefully studied in order to fold and shrink under the pressure of the user. The weight of the user is transferred through the three layers of foam plastic and the goal was to bend the chair in a form of an armchair. the chair and it’s designer in action :
