The cabin is a prototype that focuses on the ability for adapting to the different locations. It can be settle in the different climates, seasons, terrains and also even adapt to night and day situations thanks to its adjustable facade by sliding system. The ability of chameleon, changing the colors to blend in the environment, is taken as a reference to adapt to different seasons by several changes such as color and facade arrangement.The cabin adapts its facade to different climatic conditions in order to balance the interior heat. It is composed by an inner mass and a jacket wrapping the main mass. Outer skin has darker material to absorb heat and transmit during the winter time. It is slided to the west in the summer season to create a protected terrace. The lighter color of inner mass will reflect the sunlight. By sliding the jacket, different facade treatments are formed. North facade includes an upper terrace reached from the sleeping zoom. The terrace is fully open in summer season. Sun protection for the sleeping zone in summer time is provided by cladding becoming sunscreen. Sun protection elements can be transformed and adapted to other furniture elements. Shelves can be used for growing plants or for decoration purposes.
