CITY BLOCKS: ITINERANT TYPOLOGIES
Thesis Overview :
Itinerant typolgies as a research project is an attempt to question the current concepts of static dwellings and introduce a transformable system of living modules. The aim of the project is to examine the future population growth of the cities and derive parameters to facilitate these transformations.
This will be done by creating a hybrid system of dwellings that can be transformed within the parameters of geometric optimization and population considerations , in the following ways :
- Rearranging -> Stack
- Merging -> Integration
- Split – > Disintegration
