NAME: CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber )
FORMULA/ CHEMICAL COMPOSTION:
Spruce ( pine, fir, stone pine and other woods)
MATERIAL DESCRIPTION:
Cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels consist of several layers of lumber stacked crosswise and glued together on their faces.CLT is composed of an uneven number of layers (in general three, five, seven or even more), each consisting of side-by-side placed boards (or beams), which are crosswise arranged to each other normally under an angle of 90° and quasi rigidly connected by adhesive bonding.
EXTRACTION PROCESS:
The timber is sourced from sustainably managed forests in Europe, North America or New Zealand. Timber is the only sustainable construction material as it stores carbon for its entire life cycle. Sustainable forests are managed in such a way that ensures that trees are planted to replace the trees that are harvested.

3_Elisa Strozyk "Wooden Textiles" http://www.elisastrozyk.de/seite/woodtex/woodentextiles.html Elisa Strozyk has decided to take an experimental tack in her creative work. The young designer from Berlin creates objects that surprise and encourage the observer to take a second, closer look at her designs. Elisa’s objects have a very particular aesthetic, which arises both from the shapes they are given and from a highly unconventional use of material. Elisa Strozyk has attracted a lot of attention with her textiles, sheets, rugs and clothes made from a very unusual material: wood. ____________ For more information about projectshttp://www.klh.at/en/projects/family-houses/casa-lupo-vallon-les-loups.html#&panel1-2
