“Society tells you have to get a proper profession….While most people always loved making things with their hands, choosing something that’s tactile, that you can feel with your fingers, something that’s real. But in the digital realm you cannot feel it this way. In a way now…we have to go digital to get analog”.
BARCELONA HERITAGE
We are an international group of students from around the world, we witness that cities are quickly becoming the new countries in which we relate ourselves too. Gaudi’s work has undoubtably left a mark of unique character on the city of Barcelona. However, with continued globalization and urban changes around the world’s cities they are quickly loosing identify, all looking the same.
The strong community of the city, which has not only created contemporary Barcelona – one of the most pleasant urban environments in Europe, was also able to stand against the changes, which logically followed the first gentrification wave following the 1992 Olympics.
But there are places in the city…to follow your passion!
Through workspace sharing and mentoring. We want Craft Nouveau to act as a digital platform to an alternative path of logical learning for those in the face of a life of constant technological and executive life, exploring their crafting passions and early entrepreneurship. Making use of available workspace and experienced mentors for the apprentice. Restoring and Keeping Crafts in place.

About us:
We are four masters of architecture students from the Institute of Advanced Architecture Catalunya, based in Barcelona city. We come from the Lebanon, Ireland, Guatemala and Brazil and love life here in Barcelona’s cosmopolitan city by the mediterranean beaches. Speaking English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, we are integrating into catalan society and we are passionate about bringing back the arts and craft movement to Barcelona and engaging the community. Keeping and potentially restoring lost Heritage starting here in Barcelona.
Our Kickstarter campaign aims to attract specially young and middle age people which are interested in learning and sharing their passions in a friendly environment. We thought about the type of service we wanted to offer, the value proposition, made a Canvas analysis, the Risks and challenges and the Rewards people will get, among other things.
RISKS AND CHALLENGES:
Our project is a work in progress, we will require further review between companies and organizations to confirm the break down of the contributions to those we collaborate with.
All shared spaces will be vetted to ensure the correct health and safety measures and security are in place.
In the un-lightly event of a cancellation or unavailability, we will act as intermediary to ensure the clients booking takes place in a correct and timely fashion.
An third party insurance policy will be in place to allow for contingencies such as stealing and damage, to eliminate risk to both the owner and the client involved.
