Growing Wall
The design intent behind the “Growing Wall” was to promote modularity and flexibility for continual growing. Taking into consideration of Nantes, France’s Summer and Winter conditions, with expansion of hanging plant room in the summers, and the capability to envelope creating greenhouse in winter.

Taking into account what growing conditions that would promote the growth of Tomatoes, Zucchini, and Lettuce. Reaching to achieve daylight for 6-8 hours and growing room for plants reaching height 1200mm.

Structural Studies
The verticality of the growing wall and the mesh used for sun protection creates a sail for the structure to easily catch wind. To counteract, implication of cables helped to tether down the wall.
