// BRIEF
The aim of this 3D printed project is to create a single tile that will become one piece of a lamp created by 24 different tiles. Our main focus during the design process was light quality. In order to create different effects with light we took curvature and density as our two main parameters. Our curves’ spread out from dense starting points to a relaxed position until they reach the frame in order to create a gradient effect on light.

Overlapping layers of different curves, change the density of light passing through the material. Considering the qualities of th ematerial, white ABS, overlapping layers create a gradient of shadow. Tiles curvy design allows it to have a different look and light density from different points of view.
Light passing through the overlapping layers, changing density and direction.
