PROJECT TITLE
Structural DNA
DATA
Material: PVA & Resin Casting
Technique: 3-D Printing
CONCEPT
This project aims to create a cast object by creating miniature version which can be fixed in a small open lid cube by 3-D printing. The inspiration of geometrical form in the cube is from how one can perceive or see the DNA of a structure, the core joining layout of a structure narrowing and minimalizing it down to its DNA.
METHODS
The achieve the shape of the desired form in the given open lid cube, two cylinders were created and then curved from the middle to give the shape a twisted form and then edited to the size or girth of a pipe to achieve the basic swirl of a DNA, then from top to bottom pipes were constructed to link the two swirls cutting through and through connected with walls of the open lid cube creating a support to the desired form and then connected and jointed with each other using the Boolean Tool.
PROJECT TITLE
Fish Egg Stick
DATA
Material: PVA & Resin Casting
Technique: 3-D Printing
CONCEPT
This project aims to create a cast object by creating miniature version which can be fixed in a small open lid cube by 3-D printing. The inspiration of geometrical form in the cube is from the Fish Eggs laid out in a river, ocean or pond which can be translated as the underwater habitation or houses for human beings in the future time ahead.
METHODS
The achieve the shape of the desired form in the given open lid cube, spheres of different sizes where created and attached together in a Fish Egg layout pattern and then pipes as a support holder to the desired form was created and attached to the spheres at different level of the patterns attaching it to the walls for the support and then connected and jointed with each other through Boolean tool.
