Forces of Nature – Tensile Cluster is a project of IAAC (Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) for Master in Advanced Architecture (MAA02). the project was developed by the student Jorge Mauricio Casian for the Computational Design class with the faculty Rodrigo Aguirre.

The project consists on the design of a small pavilion on IAAC’s roof top area. The pavilion is defined in shape and position by the space available on the site. The project consists on a cluster of supports and tensile structure that creates a canopy. The shape of these structures follows 2 geometrical systems that have been implemented throughout the project with the purpose of  defining the space and scale of the pavilion.
