“Architecture is the will of an epoch translated into space..” Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s famous pavillion in Barcelona has not only one but many iconic architectural features.  For this exercise I decided to interact with the “celebrity” wall of Rohe’s masterpiece, his beautiful marble wall- Divides a simple but iconic space of the open space house.  What if the wall is broken free of its static prison a becomes a fracture in the architectural space? The fracture is meant to give the heavy wall and the space dinamicity.
