Design practices on a general scale have always implemented ideas to shape scenarios in urban and rural practices regarding its visual and user impact. An architect’s duty is to follow them without asking a question.
But, there has always been a question regarding how a common user sees/implies/performs on outputs which have already been super imposed and how he adapts to applicators thought processes as he is relieved of the right to choose them. I think designers have a very important role in the shaping of the urban scenario as he is supposed to be implicating the needs of every citizen in the vicinity. It is a practically impossible thought to implicate every need of an individual, but the general requirements can always be given.
A client can give his needs to a designer in the most direct manner possible as its easier to deal with the one individual at a time. The complexity instantly increases as the individuality turns into a group, and a group turns to a community
City planning becomes a complex task as the individuality is taken aside and the common factors are brought into consideration. If a city designer starts thinking or implying on factors regarding one citizen then we would end up with a bus stop, metro station, trash cans, at an interval of every 10 meters in a city., chaotic thought of course. A city designer cannot imply the following as he thinks on economic and sustainable factors, through which the city can perform as a whole. His job is to provide essentials in every zone which makes the city as a whole.
The most important fact for an architect to understand is to meet the requirements along with making an impact. He has to consider the beauty as well as the finance to deliver his design to the common public in an easy manner.
