CONCEPT
The idea was to experiment with doubly curved surfaces by using waffle structure. Waffle structure would help provide structural stability for the design also.
METHODS
The design is portion of inverted bottle. The process started with creating solid form and then using grasshopper in creating of 2 Dimensional surface. By laser cutting we then assembled the pieces to complete the structure.

3D PRINTING

CONCEPT
The concept was to make a object that comprises of shapes that can be printed using a 3D printer. And test the shapes that can be 3D printed.
METHODS
The exercise of developing a 3D model and printing it was about learning the technique for 3D printing. The model we created was a basic square box with one side open. The extruded box was then modified with cage edit option. And each side was transformed into wave forms and the final object was formed.
