) The great game of life; it is true that this endless war between brain and heart will continue intrigue every human in every aspect of life. This behavior is naturally inside every individual of human being. There are some rational between two that can be connect and be pursue together. And this is somewhat an example of meet-in-the-middle conclusion of the never-ending fight of reason vs intuition.  Being sustainable is also a big topic for this kind of war. With several outputs to consider, this goal is one of a big battle to resolve and to continue to be preserved. How to think and act sustainable is the main intention of every human living. Architecture is one of the most influenced fields of this sustainable subject. As professional architect, we have to consider many outputs and analyze it to create an architecture that is sustainable for living. Building, infrastructures, mobility, and the people are never can be separated. This is what define a city. Every building should be integrated by the environment and people, with the good infrastructure that allow people to connect and mobilize in the city. By creating each element, we as architect have the freedom to design and actually “create” the way of people living. By collecting their informations of behavior we can somehow conclude the pattern of daily basis, the pattern of economic behavior, also how people leisure time. Sustainable approach take a crucial role of creating architecture. In order to make a sustainable city, they have to have a sustainable buildings and infrastructures. All these can push people to think and be sustainable. By what the city or building or architecture has tp offer, somehow we can change. As practicing architect we tend to somehow more concern about financially profitable. This is a micro way of thinking. It is very common architect build a building based on more financially profitable and less of economically feasible. Unfortunately having financially profitable is more convincing to architect because we can see the impact at that time by ourselves, but the economically feasible is somehow not that visible until we can see in a longer period of time. But if we think through again, both of this can actually connect and go along. Creating a sustainable architecture is one of the way. Having local materials for the building, considering the social need, with green and self-sufficient technology, collecting informations of  the neighbor, etc can get along together. Think and act sustainable can join these two of approaches. It creates the best behavior for developing an architecture. This is a challenge for us as architects, or as the users.
