Concept: – Our inspiration for this idea came from biology, in specific, the undulating surface of scaled fish skin. – The geometry for the panel breaks from the repetitive nature of real fish scales by introducing a point of distortion. – The strategies used to achieve this effect were parallel and radial paths. – The radial strategy emphasizes this point of distortion by breaking the ordered linearity achieved through the parallel strategy.
