Anthropogenic Ecosystems: Mexico City as prototype
Understanding rubbish as our own nature and ecology. The aim of the thesis is to use Urban Solid Waste (USW) through aggregation as construction system, in order to develop new housing typologies.
Using computational methods as design parameter, in order to set the positioning, dimensions and aggregation systems for the developmentof the typologies.
Given parameters:
° Material composition, quantity and dimensions, reflect in bales.
° Sqm needed for a inhabitant to coexist in a interior space.
° Selecting faces of the bales where the aggregation will start.
° Define a given platonic geometry where the development will occur.
° Dematerialization of the final geometry, as a result of illumination & ventilation needed in a house typology.
