ONE OCEAN PAVILION by SOMA
Theme Pavilion Expo Yeosu, Yeosu-KR, 2O12
Selected as the first prize winner in an open international competition in 2009, It is largely known for its fish-like characteristics created by a cutting-edge façade system that is made-up of glass fiber reinforced polymers (GFRP) capable of being morphed into a number of animated patterns.
COMPUTATIONAL LOGIC
- Create a surface.
- Get first curves.
- Move curves and gaussian.
- Loft curves with predetermined list.
- Make attractor point along length of surface.
- Connect attractor point to gaussian curve slider which is connected to the loft.
- Offset loft for thickness.
- Add color
