Location: Adelaide, Australia
Area: 25,000 sq m
Completion Date: 2013
Step 1. Divide surface
- By using “lunch box”, divide surface as Triangle panel
- UV parameter: U: 20, V: 100
Step 2. Select point-up Triangles
- ”Dispatch”component allows to select point up triangles and point down triangles separately.
Step 3. Make changeable modules on the triangles
- Find point from Triangles by using “DeBrep” & “List Item”
- Rotate center line by “3d rotate”
- Rotate angle is from 0 to 90 degree.
- 90 degree -> line length is changed to 0.
0 degree -> line length is Maximum.
* (90- Angle)/90 x Max. line length = rotated line length - Make triangle surface by connecting 3 points.
Step 5. Attracting Point
- Set 4 attracting points around facade
- By using “closest points”, divide the center points of triangle panels to 4 group.
- Measure distance from attracting points to the each points on the triangle.
- Depends on the distance, input different parameters to rotation and line length.
