CONCEPT

Based on the concept of Stigmergy, a mechanism of indirect coordination, through the environment between agents where subsequent actions tend to reinforce and build on each other, leading to the spontaneous emergence of coherent and systematic activity. Created to break the symmetry of the Mies Van Der Rohe Pavillion, the installation is an array of pyramids attached to one another at varied angles. The approach aims at replicating the irregular stone patterns and strong colors.
