This project aims to recreate primitive Gaudi’s columns using subractive manufacturing through robotic fabrication as a part of the robotics workshop (MAA02). Using the ABB IRB 160 (six axis robotic arm) and hot wire foam cutting techniques, this project aimed to sculpt a column on a trans rotational axis based on Gaudi’s Principle of column design.
