A wind morphology

The purpose of this assignment was to create an installation for the Iaac’ rooftop using Grasshopper and the Plug-in Kangaroo 2. My investigation regarding the “forces of nature” that is possible to simulate with Kangaroo has been focused on the wind effect and how this componet affect the structure in relation to the typology of mesh created, in fact not just the parameters strictuly related to the pug in componet but even the kind of mesh used affect the final result. In the following slides it is possible to see the effect of the wind in the x and z direction in 3 typologies of meshes.
