WHAT IS “FOOD STATION”?
It is a metabolic system, focused on interlacing nature and technology through research, production and consumption through education and urban and rural through
logistics. Food Station is a big scale project that includes economic and social benefits:
– cooperation with local farmers;
– increased quantity of production and improved quality of the seeds;
– reduced water and land use, and greenhouse gas emissions;
– education on the impact of diets, awareness of food production;
– development of the food industry based on local production;
The structure is divided into 3 parts: scientific, educational and interactive and equipped with a hydroponic, aquaponic, LED and green house systems.
