Abstract
Fiber-reinforced Plastics (FRP) have advanced the structural performance of sustainable plastics. Furthermore, anti-gravity 3D-Printing has been used to create plastic mesh molds which are subsequently cast with concrete. In this study, we develop a new technique that prints reinforcement along with the matrix material in a single step. The applicability of this technique is evaluated by comparing its economic viability and sustainability impact on conventional techniques.
Is it possible to exploit anti gravity additive manufacturing for simultaneous reinforcement of 3D-Printed structures ?
