Super Crops

Super Crops helps farmers to convert their crops to permaculture agriculture. They just need to decide which plants they want and the application choses where to plant them.

The application takes into consideration the expected productivity along with the symbiotic behavior per plant and calculates their spatial distribution.

Implementation

The user interface and the visualization is based on Rhino/Grasshopper. And the optimization algorithm is based on an open source genetic algorithm.

Super Crops App, is a project of IAAC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia developed at Master in City & Technology in 2020/21 by student: Tugdual Sarazin, and faculty: Eugenio Bettucchi & Iacopo Neri.
