The Nest Lamp
The aim of this project, was to reinterpret tipical geometry of a lamp, in accordance with the technology of the laser cut machine and the technique used to manipulate the wood, soak bending.
We decided to modify the width along the ribbon and play with the effect of the indirect ilumination. After cut the 24 stripes, we put them in water during 3 hours.
The joints of the lamp are designed like wooden dowel in the intersection of the ribbons, in the top, the middle and the bottom of the lamp.
