The Niu Haus, an advanced ecological prototype home built during the Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings and Biocities of 2018-2019 has won the Bronze Prize from the Design that Educates Awards!

The prize was granted in recognition of the self-sufficient systems integrated in the construction, the innovative design and production techniques employed and the embedded information that communicates the sustainability of the project to visitors and occupants.

This is a major accomplishment for a student project – other laureates include such globally renowned firms as the Bjarke Ingels Group and Sauerbruch Hutton among others.
