ABSTRACT
Twisto tower is an experimental tower that rises at Sant Adrià de Besòs, Barcelona (41.415786, 2.226405). Site being very close to the sea the form was indented to be optimized for maximum wind flow onto the building also to orient solar exposure on terms of form production and dynamism. The tower has been simulated and controlled with Galapagos plugin for grasshopper as an analysis tool. The building according to the analysis it has been equipped with the solar shader with is multi modular in terms of its dynamism which orients, unfolds and folds mimicking a floral logic.
