Playa del Forum as its name informs us is located on the shore. Historically & geographically, this area has always been the edge between Barcelona & Badalona. After careful observations & analytical understanding of the urban fabric, we were able to highlight problematics & draw conclusions about the contextual conditions. Due to urban disconnections, Playa del Forum at the end of barcelona city is a secluded area that faces social deprivation. The intervention will attempt to stitch the gap & create a balance between both Barcelona & Badalona by bridging the derelict lands found at the edges of both cities. The main objectives are to activate & create a link between both areas to stimulate community engagement. We will then explore the notion of self-sufficiency by using the existing plot & weather conditions to generate energy.
