The Board of Directors of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia formed by authorities from the civil and academic society of Barcelona, met in Valldaura for a pivotal meeting before the end of the year.
IAAC board of directors  is made up of Xavier Marcet, an economist and expert in innovation, who is also the IAAC President, Lluis Comeron, the President of the Order of Architects of Spain, Ana Valles, the President of Barcelona Building Construmat, a benchmark trade fair in the international construction industry and president of Sorigue Company, Andreu Mas Colell. Furthermore, the meeting was attended by the former Minister of Economy and Universities of Catalonia, Oriol Soler, the President of SOM publishing group, Lucas Cappelli as well as IAAC Board and Academic Directors , Willy Muller, Areti Markopoulou, Tomas Diez and Vicente Guallart.During this meeting the attendees discussed issues related to current and future IAAC projects as well as other issues related to the management of the institution.
