This assignment uses agent based design to define particle behaviours – rather than directly defining outputs.
An array of prey and predator points are used to grow pathways around a cylinder, once baked and arrayed, to be a structural component.
Animation
This animation shows the gradual growth of lines along the surface of a cylinder. The moment of the particles, with one set chasing the other, is first defined, with allowance for random moment by the prey particles. Once this is developed, the movement is then limited to the cylinder.
